La Bastide Deux Lunes Provence - Rosé
Description & Tasting Notes
La Bastide des Deux Lunes is located in Puget-Ville, in the middle of the Permian depression that surrounds the Massif des Maures from Toulon to St Raphael, and which separates the crystalline Provence from the limestone Provence. Bertrand Dubois manages the 22ha estate using 'lutte raisonnée' (reasoned agriculture) and works closely with Olivier Duffort (formerly of Château Moutete).
Very pale (almost translucent) salmon pink. Aromatic, ripe stone fruit on the nose. Fine and nicely balanced on the palate. Refreshing yet properly satisfying as you'd expect from a good Côtes de Provence rosé.
With less than 1 gram of residual sugar and at 83 calories per 125ml, this wine goes perfectly with fish, a light salad, or as an aperitif on its own.
