Product Details

We are delighted to add this award-winning Australian white wine to our collection that is made by a team who are committed to the protection of our environment. If you are looking for a fresh and zesty light-bodied wine, we’re pleased to introduce you to Oxford Landing Sauvignon Blanc!

Tasting Notes

This is a fresh and zesty white wine with gentle aromas of passionfruit, lemongrass and freshly cut hay. Oxford Landing Sauvignon Blanc is packed full of vibrant flavours, combining notes of lemongrass and papaya. A percentage of the grapes were fermented on skins to add an extra dimension of complexity. This vintage was made during a cool and wet season, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly with delicious flavour development and well-balanced natural acidity. This white wine is best served with chicken, fish or tofu with a herby sauce, but is equally as nice on its own.

Region

Oxford Landing Sauvignon Blanc is produced in South Australia where its vineyards grow beside the Murray River. The Riverland is perfect for prime grape-growing conditions, with a combination of a Mediterranean climate, sunshine and fertile red soil. The vineyards are split into 150 two-hectare blocks so that each one can be treated as an individual ecosystem. This ensures healthier fruit, greater harvesting flexibility and ultimately, wine that’s full of flavour.
